Nibblr is an AI-powered recipe management service available on Android, iOS, and the web at https://getnibblr.com. Android package name: com.nibblr.app.

Depending on how you use Nibblr, we may collect:

• Account information — email address, display name, and authentication identifiers when you sign up with email, Google, or Apple.
• Profile preferences — language, country, and settings you choose in the app.
• Content you create or import — recipes, collections, meal plans, grocery lists, pantry items, notes, photos or images you upload for recipe import, and URLs or text you submit for import.
• Usage and device data — app interactions, feature usage, device type, OS version, approximate region, crash logs, and performance diagnostics.
• Purchase and subscription data — product identifiers, entitlement status, and transaction metadata processed through Google Play Billing, Apple In-App Purchase, and RevenueCat (we do not store your full payment card details).
• Support communications — emails or messages you send to our support address.

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the service (recipe library, import, meal planning, grocery, pantry, and sync across devices).
• Authenticate you and secure your account.
• Process AI-assisted features such as recipe extraction, generation, and related assistance. Content you submit for AI features is sent to our servers and may be processed by our AI providers (currently Google Gemini as primary and OpenAI as fallback).
• Manage free and premium entitlements and subscriptions.
• Diagnose bugs, monitor reliability, and understand product usage.
• Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

On Android and iOS, Nibblr may request access to the camera and photo library so you can import recipes from images. We only access media you choose to share. You can deny or revoke these permissions in your device settings; some import features may then be unavailable.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate Nibblr, under contracts that limit their use of the data:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Hosting providers (for example Vercel) — running our API and website.
• AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI) — processing content you submit for AI features.
• Analytics and monitoring (for example PostHog, Sentry) — product analytics and crash reporting.
• Subscription infrastructure (RevenueCat and Google Play / Apple) — managing in-app purchases.
• Sign-in providers (Google, Apple) — when you choose those login methods.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer (with notice where required).

Public recipes you choose to share may be visible to other users and visitors of https://getnibblr.com.

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with it within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days), except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes (for example subscription history).

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and row-level security in our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your device.

Nibblr is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Depending on your location (including the EEA, UK, and certain US states), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email nibblrteam@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. You may also delete your account as described on the Delete account page.

We and our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our vendors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Nibblr after changes means you accept the updated policy, where permitted by law.
